The Sis That Journals was founded by Mahogany, a sister friend, community connector, and journal designer born and based in Louisville, KY.

As a dreamer and avid journal-er, Mahogany created The Sis That Journals with the intention of creating a safe space for folks to get to know self. With a background in youth development, community engagement, and event planning, Mahogany pours her passion for safety, creativity, and expression in each design.

Since it’s birth in late summer 2022, Mahogany is in awe of the support and new levels The Sis That Journals has reached. Journals are available in over 5 shops, including 2 museums, on Amazon, and she has been able to engage hundreds of folks through her curated events.

Mahogany dreams of retreats abroad and having a community space of her own with beautiful flowers, healthy plants, yummy goodies, and journals-lots of journals!
